The six dimensions of organizational rationality

How can the competing rationalities that guide decisions inside organisations be identified and measured?

Kuno Schedler, Aline Tanno, Franca Burkhardt, Olena Shevkova and Ruth Frischknecht · SSRN working paper · July 2024

Abstract

The paper develops a quantitative instrument to measure organisational rationality across six dimensions, intended to help researchers and practitioners identify the rationalities at work in an organisation and how they shape decisions.
