In short

This website sets no cookies for visitors and uses no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising and no forms. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google. External services (such as LinkedIn, YouTube or publishers' websites) are reached through links only; no data goes to them unless you click such a link.

Hosting and delivery of the website

The website is operated by BunnyWay d.o.o. (bunny.net), Cesta komandanta Staneta 4A, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia, and delivered through its content delivery network; the server and media storage are located in Frankfurt am Main. Each page request makes the server process technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the referrer, and browser and operating system. These data serve only the secure and stable delivery of the website and the defence against attacks; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. Log data are kept only briefly and then deleted.

Cookies

The website sets no cookies for visitors. Only editors who sign in to the protected administration area receive a technically necessary session cookie (§ 25(2) TDDDG).

Contact by e-mail

If you write to us by e-mail, we process your details to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the data once they are no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention period applies.

Links to other services

Our pages link to LinkedIn (the institute's profile and "Share on LinkedIn"), YouTube (recordings) and to publishers' and partners' websites. These are plain links without embedded content. Only when you click a link does the respective provider process your data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
