Supporting the Asian Development Bank: policy approaches to stimulate exports

Fieldwork and interviews with Georgian exporters identified the barriers they face: complex trade regulation, limited knowledge of target markets, trade finance gaps and competing export promotion programmes abroad. The work recommended a comprehensive export promotion strategy with an ecosystem-based "team" approach, combining capacity building, targeted market support and financial risk mitigation.

Supporting the European Commission: public finance for digital transformation

The work examined how selected European export credit agencies finance connectivity, data infrastructure, digital public infrastructure and digital services abroad. It recommended stronger coordination across national agencies, EU-level risk-sharing capacity including local currency cover, and a distinct pathway for digital public infrastructure combining grants, buyer credits and sovereign loans.
