Abstract
This practitioner commentary explains why public export credits need a global framework of rules and discusses the extensive modernisation of the OECD Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits. The authors see a breakthrough on tenors, repayment terms and green finance, but find the reform falls short on the interplay between rulebooks, pre-shipment instruments and climate action.
