Professor Andreas Klasen

Professor Andreas Klasen is Director of the lill Institute for Public Value. He also serves as Honorary Research Associate at the University of Oxford and as Honorary Visiting Professor at Bayes Business School, City St George’s, University of London. In addition, he is a Partner and Managing Director with lill Advisory.
Previously, Andreas Klasen was full Professor of International Business at Brunel University of London and full Professor of International Business at Offenburg. Before joining academia, he served as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Germany and PwC’s Economics & Policy leader, as well as the Managing Director of the export credit agency of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Vice President of the Berne Union. Before, he was Head of Guarantees and Export Finance with Airbus Group (ex EADS).
Dr Andreas Klasen was educated at Leibniz University Hannover, Northumbria University, the University of Wales, and the University of St Andrews, studying law, business, and theology, and receiving his doctoral degree in finance.
